May 2007 My Best of Show silk tunic was juried into the International Costume Society Show in San Diego this spring!  It was quite an honor to find myself in the company of an international crowd which included keynote speaker Zandra Rhodes.  This is the place to find out about upcoming shows, teaching events, or awards for Wild Onion Studio! April 2007 Congratulations to Sara Crocker of My Favorite Sister Quilting Services in Barrington, RI-- Sara won a first place for her Wild Onion Jacket in the Wearable Art division of Machine Quilter's Expo (MQX)!!  Photos of her jacket can be seen in the Jacket Gallery section.  Way to go, Sara! March 2007 Look for the Wild Onion Jacket Trunk Show in the March issue of Unlimited Possibilities magazine!  There's also a Wild Onion Jacket on the cover and in the article about Ronda Beyer, longarm quilt artist and good friend! November 2006 More news:  Susan just won Best of Show for an embellished silk fusion piece in the Wearable Arts Connections Fashion Show in Los Angeles!  The piece will now travel to the International Costume Society's annual curated show in San Diego, CA this summer.  Just thought you'd want to know!
